Some modern super eco houses that are pressure tested probably do. But for everyone else, if the want in they will find aawy
You won't keep them out. They can get in through the tiniest gap so small that you can hardly even see it. I've tried most methods of eradication and the only thing that works is spring loaded snap traps. Put plenty of them around baited with peanut butter and check them every day. After a while the numbers you catch will decline and eventually you will just catch the occasional one.

I agree. We have two and I hardly ever see a mouse. Even when I do, it's one that the cats have brought in.
(If I can catch it, I will always let it out again. After all, they didn't come in on their own!)
