How can I turn this shed into a useable room

Hi, had this shed erected around a year ago but haven't got round to sorting anything out with it until now.

So, as it currently stands - it's just been an empty shell not used apart from some garden storage and some black mould has appeared on the inside roof. (see photo).

If anyone could help me out please, I want to make it so it can be used everyday, with a heater in there but concerned about moisture from breathing etc and not sure how to go about it.

In my limited understanding I think I need a waterproof membrane tacked to the wood and then put some insulation (I have some Celotex), then get somebody to plasterboard over the top and then plaster and paint? What about the floor?

If it makes any difference the windows are single glazed.

Not sure what I would need ventilation wise etc to keep it warm but stop any kind of moisture/mould.

Sorry for the mixed questions not sure where to start...

Anyone have any idea? Or perhaps this is in the wrong place? If so, could it be moved - thanks.

Thanks. Here's some more photo's of the inside roof.

I am aware of the lack of guttering, I didn't want to confuse (an already confusing post) by mentioning it - but I have a similar shed with guttering on which I have used liquid rubber on the roof and I have black mould in the inside. Neither are used for anything other than storage (at the moment).

Anyway, here's the photo's...

yes, they certainly look like water is coming in through the ridge.

If the roof panels were delivered pre-felted, them there might be a ridge cap needed. Otherwise, the felt from each side should have been run over the ridge and turned down onto the other side, so you have double thickness on the ridge.

Could the construction have flexed or moved since build, perhaps cracking or tearing the felt?

Is there any possibility that some kind of treatment applied to the outside prior to felting could have trickled down and left a stain?

Yes the ridge has double thickness on and they guys tacked it on themselves (I paid to have it installed), got up on a ladder and can't see any tearing in the felt and no treatment has yet been applied on the felt or on the roof prior to it being felted.

I have started to apply preservative but only on the sides.

Nope me either. I may get someone in about the damp.

In regard to my other questions, would doing these things be okay when the damp is sorted? Or will that cause problems maybe?

Hi, is somebody able to move this to a more suitable forum please? Maybe general or something

You could go down insulation route, with some plasterboard on top of that which could work. Always go water resistant. I think it'd always be cold to some degree unless you get some electrics inside which you could use to heat it up. It depends what you want to use it for ? Summertime would be good.

Thanks, yes it will have electricity and some wall mounted oil heaters. I'm going to use it daily/nightly like a home office with pc in etc.

More concerned with water vapour/condensation on the inside etc from breathing. Not sure if that would happen or not.

check the nail heads are tight on the felt
had a leak once and couldnt trace it hammered all nails in the area and it stopped

Will do. I'm gonna get some electricity put in and maybe a de-humidifier or something and then get it all insulated and plastered.
