Been looking at my central heating system, and my gas bill which is enormous. Looking at what I can do to get the gas bill down.

Have noticed that although all the rads in the house have TRVs, there isn't a master thermostat anywhere. Conclusion is that the boiler must be running pretty much continuously whenever the heating is turned on. Looks like I need to fit a thermostat.

Anyone have any pointers about how I might do this and recommend a suitable thermostat? I would prefer to have the programmer and thermostat in the same room (kitchen) if at all possible (less redecorating!).
