How do I add pressure to microgenus 23 mffi boiler

Hello I have a micrigenus 23 mffi boiler, the pressure gauge reads just below 1 bar, I am at a loss on how to raise the pressure.

I Know the right hand side blue knob under boiler feeds water from the main but it does not go into the system, there is another blue knob to the left that only has a quarter turn.

I have tried feeding this way but all that happens is water passes through the overflow.

Above blue knobs are valves with the screw head on both horizontal, do these have to be open to allow the water to pass through.

If any one can help these please answer with idiot proof instructions

Hi the two blue knobs both have to be turned on, if you can only turn one slightly it is probably sticking turn it slightly harder.
