Hi everyone, I'm new to this and hope someone can help.
I have a hole in my living room wall roughly the size of a dinner plate. This was caused by the electrician when he put the wiring in for my new oven on the opposite side! Will try to attatch a pic.
The wall is the honeycomb stuff and as I've said there are the cables for the oven there.. thanks in advance.

Was it a qualified electrician? looks like a bodge in my opinion using electrical tape like that, they didn't even cut a clean hole in the wall which would have been pretty simple. Will access ever be needed to the wiring, if so some kind of access panel needs to be made?

Don't fix the hole until that wiring is sorted! Post your pics in the electrics forum and stand back!

Hi, yes he was a qualified electrician, but a friend of a friend! So didn't like to ask him to fix the hole! If access was needed I would pull the oven out in the kitchen which on the other side of the hole.
I will post it in electrics and see what they say.
Thank you for the replies.

When you post in electrics include a photo of what's on the other side if that hole.
