How do i get email notifications on this site?

I have never received any email notifications on this site and was wondering how i set it?

On the alert settings page all are ticked.

just checked after your message, nothing in spam or deleted, as i posted the message the option for email notification was ticked as well.

Does it not work with hotmail accounts?

I wouldn’t have thought it was account specific, in fact, I think my Hotmail account is used, but I don’t like email notifications. Have you checked you’ve entered the correct email address?
