Sorry this is a bit trivial !
I need to remove the heated towel rail for decorating. It is the "open radiator" in this Combi powered system and so the valves are not thermo's or conventional screw valves. They have white covers on them that simply spin around freely. I assume there are screw valves under there. However I can pop the caps off. I have pushed and pulled and squeezed etc without success. I haven't pulled too hard yet as I don't want to do damage.
So... is there a trick to this ? Is it a job for a twisting screwdriver blade or do they need to be cut off and then replaced? Or something else?
Thanks for any tips
John
