How do I remove my bath tap?

I have a dripping bath tap but I can't work out how to take the tap off to repair it. It is a 'quarter turn' mixer bath tap but it doesn't have any visible screws and I'm nervous of just pulling it off. My guess is that it contains a cartridge but I need to work out how to get into it to find out.

Does anyone have any suggestions to try to get the tap apart? I've included a photo to show what the tap looks like. It doesn't have a make unfortunately so I've heard it may be difficult to get a replacement anyway.

Many thanks

I'm guessing here but try levering out the blue or red markers on the tap levers . There may be a screw hidden underneath

Hmmm I hadn't thought about that. I know that screws can be hidden under these things but I didn't think about it for my taps for some reason. I'll have a look.

Thanks Dave.

Yep - that's it.

2 bonus points to you. Minus 2 points to me.

Not feeling that clever at the moment!
