How do I remove these spotlights?

Howdy all

How do I temporarily remove these spotlights so I can paint/amend the ceiling (without having to 'circle' around the light fixture)?

Normally I'd just pull the downlights from the ceiling (via the sprung arms) but these seem attached in a different way

Any help much appreciated

Maybe the bezel unscrews?

Tried it! It's either old/stuck or some other way

Try 2 scrapers ,slide them between bezel and ceiling and lever the light down, these ar locked in place via springs connects to the frame of fitting.
Once you create a gap to get your fingers in, gently work the light down by rocking , you will then expose springs which you can then pinch in until fitting finally releases . Be careful springs stay squeezed , as they can pop back on your fingers, and they may sting for a while.
