My boilers pressure is reading zero and the manufacturers have stated that i can repressurise it myself. I think the connections i require are under a cover ontop of the boiler but i can't figure out how to get it off. Can anybody tell me how to repressurise the system and get the cover off?
Its an Ideal Classic LXFF 230

If you climb in the loft you will probably find a small header tank with no water init and a stuck ballvalve

the cover on top of the boiler usually lifts off, its on a booby trap style hook though so be careful, you also wont be able to take it off completely as the pressure guage is still attached and the expansion vessel will try to fall out.

i hate these stupid sealed system covers on classics, really stupid design.

He shouldn't need to take the cover off anyway.

What expansion vessel nickso
