I've just installed all the pipe work fresh. Is there a easy way to check if a shower pump is working our not before I continue?
I flushed the hot/cold sides of the system for 5 minutes before turning it on and you can hear each side of the pump click on when the outlet valves are opened.
The shower pipe outlets are open at the moment so and I can't see any difference when the pump is on/off but the flow is obviously unrestricted with the mixer unit being connected yet.
The problem is this pump is second hand and I want to know if the humming is the pump pumping or if it is jammed?
