I've just spent weeks tiling and fitting a new WC/Basin suite in a downstairs cloakroom.
The original soil pipe exit is vertical through the floor, the new WC had to be offset slightly from the original so I have had to use one of those flexible connection pipes to give me the offset I needed.
Everything seemed fine until I finished off the WC install - tiling up to the edge as there is a box behind and to either side of it and sealing around it with white sanitary sealant.
I then noticed a slight build up of water seaping through between the floor and WC base. I can only assume that this is coming from the flexible soil pipe to WC connection as there is nowhere else it can come from.
Leas me on to the question: Is there any way I can get ant leak sealant or other product in through the WC and into the end of the soil pipe to seal the leak - which can only be a minor leak - without having to dismantle the whole ruddy lot again? What product would you use to do it if it was possible.
If I have to dismantle, it will mean cutting through all the sealant and may mean damaging the tiles.
Thanks, in hope of an easy fix!
