How do I take this tap apart to fit new washer?

Hi, I've changed washers in single bathroom taps but not in mixer taps - is it a similar process?

This is my tap:

It might not even be washer related, it's been dripping for a while but sometimes it won't switch off at all and we need to keep pulling and pushing the lever until we get lucky and it goes off - tap could have had it? I thought I'd try the washer first.

Any advice appreciated.

Matt

First off give it all a bloody good clean, its disgustingly covered in muck...

Then look around the back for a grub screw, you will likely need a small allen key to undo it so it pulls off.

Cheers.

I was going to clean it before posting, then thought noone would notice... Should see the bathroom...

Thanks, will give a cartridge a shot, mixer taps are more expensive than I imagined!
