How do I view a user's profile

How do I view a user's profile, eg to get his e-mail address? There is no link from the poster's name in the threads and I cannot find any option to access any profile other than my own.

Alternatively, click search, change Display results as: to Posts. Then type in the name of the author into Search for Author. Click search and the usernames are hyperlinks that link to the users profile.

No, my e-mail address is not hidden but it's not possible to select the author name on my posts - or any post at all in any forum.
