how do you paint wicker / rattan furniture

I have a couple of bedside cabinets I'd like to paint white, they are in natural state - well a coating of varnish probably when made.

Dunno how to paint it :oops: Used to make things like that in Occupational Therapy
 
A cheap can of spray paint is best.
 
DITTO to the above. you can buy areosols of white paint in various finishes, goes on better into the whicker and doesnt get clogged up .
