How Do You Wire A Vent Axia Fan To A Humidistat

Can anyone give me a step by step of how to do this please?
I want to connect a vent axia ACM 100 to a vent axia 563532A humidistat.
I’ve looked at the wiring diagram with the humidistat which seem to suggest that a 3 terminal junction box is needed with only 2 terminals being used?
The fan is not a timer version and is not going to be operated via a light switch I want to take a feed from a spur off a lighting circuit though.
