Hi chaps!!

Can anybody tell me how to remove the cistern from a toilet like this please? You can’t get under the pan to remove the wing nuts as you can normally.

Thanks!

I have a back to the wall enclosed WC like that. Undo the screw each side and slide the whole thing out. I have a flexible pan connector and a flexi hose for filling. On mine, when fitting it back in place, I expand the flexi pan connector to max, insert both ends then slide it back into position, concertinering the pan connector as you push it in.

Thanks for the reply but I was hoping I’d overlooked something simple. I only need to change the flush valve and didn’t want to remove the pan really

Most flush valves are replaceable without having to split the cistern from the pan. Take the lid off your cistern and post a photo of the inside

I have actually done that, it’s a geberit valve. I’ve ordered one already and it’s supposed to be compatible with the existing cradle but I do t think it will be. These are pictures that of the broken valve. It has two hooks on the bottoms which engage on the outer rim of the cradle but the new valve engages in the inner rim of the cradle.
