how far would u go.

just wondering how far would people go to work on there bikes 8 ,10 maybe 12 miles , not me .i came out of the house to-day at 6.40am its 3c below taps in yard froze, road like ice rink, next bus is 7.10. which was late look at my bike ,but got in my van , globle warming were , WOULD U HAVE GOT ON THE BIKE

i did just that a few years ago ended up falling off my bike on some ice and killing the bike and smashing my leg. i dont recommend it.

I used to have a christmas job at argos, i applied for the job in the town centre store, but they posted me out at an out of town store, so i had to go through the town centre and back out. I didnt drive at the time, so i would ride my bike there. About 4 miles total. This was at christmas too, remember. Used to park my bike in the stockroom, with the other bikes - there'd be about 5, quite a few people rode to work. I currently work 9 miles from home. If i were a bit fitter, I'd have no worries about riding to work. As it is, I'm woefully unfit and would be lucky to make it 2 miles up the road

on a cold wet windy day would u ride 8 mile each way to protect the planet or go by car ,u could get a cold on your bike whick would mean time of work were is the saving on the BBC planet show last nigth it said no matter wot we throw at earth it will recover its just us that wont ,it went on to say our time will run out no matter what we do ,so get out of my 4x4s way
