I'm having difficulty getting a roofing tradesman interested in repairing this disaster of a valley and tile. Is it because these guys are ultra busy at this time or is it because it's an unpopular type of job? Very grateful for your thoughts . Thank you.

Old English Marley Moderns, GRP dry valley, bit of ply, bit of lead, batten and membrane - piece of cake.

OP,
What you show is all in a roofer's work, so why the reluctance to take the job I dont know.
Why not post a pic showing the whole valley? If its awkward to photo then use a long selfie stick from, say, a window?

FWIW: the construction & building trades across many countries are getting desperate for new entry people but the total workforces are getting less and less by the week with few newcomers in sight.
Certain hard wearing trades such as roofing are in dire straits in some areas.
The reasons for this state of things nobody seems to know - we guess but we dont know.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. "Old English Marley Moderns". Good to know. The state of the valley is just more of the same. This attached might be a bit clearer. It's quite frustrating - I am not a time waster and don't expect the job doing for next to nothing. BTW is this a job that requires scaffolding please? Thank you.

OP,
Its still not that much clearer - whole valley pics would show from the intersecting ridge down to the eaves:
that is, there's possibly a lead saddle at the ridge, and a lead soaker at the eaves?
The debris in the valley seems to be moss & bits of delaminated tile.
I dont see any valley pointing mortar neither can I see clips securing the valley off-cuts?

If you erect & tie-in a scaffold tower you could easily clean the debris from the valley (& the roof gutters) - & then take another pic to post on here? You would also have safe access to change the broken tile.
