Should I wait for grout to dry, or to fully cure before applying sealer?
I have marble tiles which I sealed before grouting, I've grouted using Norcros 4in 1 grout which has a 5 hour dry time.
sealing with Fila MP90 ECO XTREME
I now need to seal everything before use but I can't find any definitive answers as to how long to wait before sealing the grout. Norcros tech said 14 days once grout is fully cured, but I can't imagine any tile fitter would be waiting that long and they're probably just covering themselves.
General consensus online is to wait 48-72 for grout to fully dry (not cured) as my grout has a 5 hour dry time on bag, I thought should be good with sealing after 48hrs.
I've read some post from fitters stating they seal after wash down!
wondered if anyone had experience and advice on general practice for sealing after grouting? what's the worse that can happen if I seal to early?
Thanks in advance
