your boiler has a GC number and a serial number quote these when ordering the valve, or take a pic of the existing valve and compare it with pics of valves on ebay and if you see the same one there will probably be a part number there

Afaik one plastic one brass. If you use direct heating spares, they use filters, so it narrows it down to the correct one.
you also just get the diverter valve cartridge, what is that actual fault with it ?
