Hi All
I have just installed a new shower/ bath filler system:
- Thermostatic mixer valve
- bath filler
- large rain head shower.
I'm guessing that the cold is fed from the mains as I get Ok pressure if I set it to cold.
Cold is fed by 15mm pipe, hot by 22mm.
The shower head is only about 2 ft below the bottom of the header tank (mainly due to my exceptionally poor planning!)
When I set the temperature to be acceptable to get under, I get a bit of flow from the head, but it's what I would describe as 'just below acceptable'.
I have the option of raising the header tank by about another 4 ft in the loft and wondered if this would make any real difference? Is it worth the effort, or should I get a pump installed?
Any advice would be gratefully received
Thanks
