how often should combi boiler fire up for CH?

i had a problem with some of the radiators upstairs in the front bedroom it would not get hot as the living toom and front room, this was the same case with the kitchen and bathroom radiators

i found the problem which was causing this which was that the gate valve was fully opened so i opened it from 1/4 turn from closed, this seems to have cured the problem all my radiators are equally hot now

i have turned the boiler stat to the middle, but still seems to be firing every so often, the temp states 60 degrees
