How about anyone working in tourism

After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, several governments, including the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada have issued travel advisories calling on their nationals to avoid travel to Russia.[5] For the same reason, airline routes between Russia and Western countries were closed, and supply of spare parts for some domestic airline traffic inside Russia became a challenge.[6]

Only 200,100 foreigners visited Russia in 2022, a drop of 96.1 percent from the pre-pandemic period.[1] Most of Europe closed its airspace to Russian planes a few days after Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022.[1] Foreign-issued Visa and Mastercard cards no longer work in Russia, further impacting tourism.[1]
affected you personally did it?

Russians have noticed very little in the way of sanctions.

Please explain
So with thousands of sanctions against Russia, very little has changed inside of Russia, food prices have increased but that is the same allover the world. Foreign goods are still widely available that have left Russia. A lot of the big companies that have left Russia according to the media outlets are still there, They have simply changed trading names to Russian names. Coca Cola left their factory and it is still being produced by the Russians under a new name. Burger King is still there as is countless others. Shops are still full and no empty shelves, Moscow is still thriving and the locals are still enjoying a very high standard of life probably better than yours is. Did you think that sanctions had altered peoples lives or something?

How about the tourism sector?

How about the tourism sector?
The only thing with tourism is that it is more difficult for tourists to visit now with visa applications and the internal money problems, your normal credit cards won't work over there, so yes tourism is affected through sanctions for the outside world.

That’s nothing to do with Brexit and leaving the EU though, is it? That’s all to do with the Russian invasion and sanctions. Anyway, this is a Trump/Tariff thread isn’t it? As usual, Notch brought Brexit into it on page 1.

Why does that matter, have you never heard of wider society?

I also care about others, we don't live in isolation.
yes that is as maybe, but who do you know then that has been affected for you to worry over?
