things go up regardless, inflation has a lot to do with it, I just accept it and move on. You should try it too it really does help you smile and enjoy life.
Let me explain it to you in very simple steps:
STEP 1: Brexit increased trade barriers.
STEP 2: increased trade barriers increase costs and delays
STEP 3: British citizens end up paying higher prices, less choice and increased delays.
Almost everybody in the U.K. is moaning about the cost of living: Brexit played a part in those cost increases.

So you being such an expert, why did you vote for it?
The demographics of immigration have changed massively since Brexit. I think this has stirred up a lot of anger. Many people were angry when we had a lot of immigrants from Poland and other parts of Eastern Europe. They are much angrier now that we have a lot of immigrants from South Asia and Africa.

I was ignorant and made a mistake.
It’s good when people learn from their mistakes and accept they were wrong……it’s the reason why support for Brexit is constantly dwindling, there hasn’t been majority support since 2017

I think it's relatively straightforward. If so-called ordinary American's suffer from higher consumer prices for longer than they deem acceptable, support for higher tariffs will wain.
If those expecting to see new factories spring up don't start to see ground being broken and foundations laid in the coming 2-3 years, support for higher tariffs will wain. No, they're not expecting new factories tomorrow, however neither are they expecting to wait year after year.
Understandably and rightly, voters are very fickle when it comes to how policy is affecting them.
The Republican party itself will start to become more and more uneasy if things don't settle from a socioeconomic perspective.
I keep on saying it, in different ways, we see this time and time again in politics. In the UK, 'give us your vote and we'll reinvigorate the north!' How often has that carrot been dangled, some voters fall for it, fast forward x years, no reinvigoration of the north. Said voters think 'we've been had!' and likely vote differently come next election.
The mids and 2029 will tell what ordinary American's actually feel and think about all this.
