how to and wiki

just some random thoughts

why is there a how to and a wiki there are three different search boxes on this site (at least) forum wiki and homepage the latter really just gives you shop results (i realise you can turn this off but it is the default)?

i guess its some legacy thing why not merge the how to and the wiki?

i dont mind migrating some stuff into the wiki and would it promote more use of the wiki?

Thanks for your thoughts and offer of help. The search for the forum provides lots of options so more specific searches can be made - date order, only search one area etc.

I agree that one search should cover the wiki and the How To section though. We have considered merging the How To and the Wiki, but instead we intend to have a unified index rather than amalgamating them at this time.
