Hi there,
I want to change (or at least clean) the noisy float valve in a "Range Kernel" cold water cistern. This is one of those arrangements for new-build flats where a plastic cistern sits directly over the hot water cylinder, all supported in a metal framework.
The problem is that, firstly, there is not a great deal of space between the top of the cistern and the ceiling of the airing cupboard, but more significantly only a small central section of the lid is removable - maybe 10" square.
Does anybody have any tips on how to change a float valve, when the access is difficult like this?
Thanks
