Hi,
The water from my hot water tap flows out more quickly and narrower than I would like. I would prefer it to come out with the same flow velocity as the cold water.
How do I adjust the flow?
Thanks

Looks like a mixer tap.

The hot runs through the middle of the tap and the cold around the outside. In essence a double walled pipe.

This is why the hot is thinner and more central.

It probably coming out faster as the pipe is smaller think thumb over hose pupe

You could try a diffuser/aerator - screws on the end of the tap and "swirls" the water and mixes it with air. Actually a water saving device but they "slow" the water down and make it frothy. I fitted them when we changed from gravity to mains pressure hot water as I didn't like the way it blasted out of the tap.

If you Google water saving devices most water companies will give you them free.
