How to clean up inside of Vaillant boiler

We had a hose rupture in our Vaillant 630 boiler. It's left annoying water marks/light surface rust on various copper and steel fixings. What do you good folks recommend for removing the marks?

If looking inside your boiler annoys you so much you need a new hobby somthing like train spotting, mind you that can be very annoying when they dont turn up on time,
