Hi

Currently my radiator pipework looks like this but I am installing a new column rad

I want to put the pipework behind the wall so it pops out where the valves are… just going to use pushfit behind wall with cooper tails coming out.

I’m wallpapering over the finished article…. Can I just use plaster adhesive to skim over the pipework (I have some left over in a big bag) or do I need to use other stuff to go over the pipework ? Cheers

Pipes need to be free to move as they expand and contract with heat.
Put in wall with expanding foam over then plaster is one way.

Fit pipes in trunking buried in the wall is another.

Okay thanks.

Do you think I will need to cut the whole channel out (left to right) or will I get away with cutting out ‘hatches’ and feeding pipes through?

Cheers
