Hi,

The ceiling and the floor (both follow their own straight line and) are not parallel. There is just less that 2.4m between them. Standard plasterboard 1.2m x 2.4 m.

What method to cut plasterboard so it fits side by side with one just fitted and even with floor and ceiling and snug ?

thanks

scribing is the term you are looking for.
there are varying ways you can do this,
1 way is to say measure up 1.2m from the floor, tight against the 1st board and with a level run a horizontal line along your wall, alternating the level on each run.then measure down from the line and then plot the measurement onto you new piece.

or just cut it tight into the ceiling and forget about the gap on the floor,THATS if your new skirting boards cover the discrepancy??
