How to fill gap between existing gravel boards & new pat

Hi DIY friends!!

I am panicking a bit! We are getting a new patio installed. It has been lowered and gaps are now showing between the patio and the existing gravel boards! Gravel boards can't be lowered as they have been cemented in! Any ideas on how to cover/ block the heightened soil from next door below the gravel board and our patio?

Any suggestions gladly welcomed!

Maybe you could fill the gap with a stiff mix of concrete.
