Have been trying to replace some Nico friction hinges on my UPVC double glazing. The hinges are 16" with a 17mm stack height - I couldn't get Nico ones so purchased some Yale ones however when I fit then the sash fouls the frame before the window closes, tried adjusting the hinge position on the sash but the problem persists.
Can't find a guide anywhere for where the hinge bar should fit against the sash and every DIY guide indicates replacements need not be identical. Am I missing something?
