Hi i have a Ford Fiesta 2000 MK4 1.25 zetec LX car. and it keeps overheating. the fans in the car are working (hot + cold). I have had RAC out and they have said the head is fine, i have changed the Thermostat and the tempature clip. When i am driving the engine will over heat and the fans in the engine bay will come on. I have done all the obvious fixes but its still over heating. What shall i do???

If you have all the obvious things checked?

Radiator blocked internal or external
Water pump impeller fallen off the shaft
Head gasket blown (gas bubbles in the coolant)

New thermostats can be faulty. Before you go splashing more money around- take the thermostat out and run the car and see what happens.
Let us know the result

Also- how do you know it's overheating ??.
Because temp guage says so ?.

does the heater still blow hot air ?.

Describe the symptoms

Check that the top of the thermostat housing that is piped into the header tank is not blocked. You can tell by making sure that ALL the 12mm pipe is hot.
