Hi

I've got a broken tile which I need to replace on my house. It's a biggie, about 1/2 in thick and a foot wide and is nailed to the battens. It's quite heavy and obviously I can't get under the tile above to nail it back.

What's the best way to fix it back in? I can slide it into position, but need to stop it sliding out. I was thinking of a lead clip like used on plain slate roofs but think it may be too heavy.

Has anyone got any suggestions to hold it in place?

Thanks

Thanks, but this is a roof tile, not a wall tile!

It's (apparently) a Hardrow concrete tile.

Anyone got any ideas???

Advice appreciated
