There is only 120mm between the airing cupboard wall and the cylinder.

I would like to add 1 or 2 more fixings but cannot get a drill in there or swing a hammer. Is there any way to do that please?

I’d just do another one here, low as you can drill at a bit of an angle and not bother with any more.
Unless it’s a plasterboard wall in which case go as low as you want with a stubby (or angled as said) screwdriver to make a hole, put a grey plug in and screw in

Thanks for the replies.

Yes, the vertical pipe.

The wall is concrete block and plaster.

I had fixed the pipe at 300mm intervals up to the ceiling.

At the moment the space between fixings is 900mm, as you said I could get one where you put the arrow at a bit
of an angle which would bring it down to 700mm.

For 15mm JG Speedfit (plastic) pipe, the recommended vertical fixing interval is typically 500mm to 800mm.

I think in your case you can apply common sense and it’s acceptable as it is. Different if it was gas and copper, or a long horizontal run with no support. Another option is a bit of 18mm ish ply/mdf cut and pipe clips pre-screwed to it then glued or screwed (away from the cylinder) to the wall, would stand the pipe off the wall a bit more but would work.

Good points and many thanks for your help.
