how to plaster over tapered edge on boards

can any1 tell me how 2 plaster over tapered edges,do you just plaster them as if it is normal square edge boards and skrim the joints or do u after fill them first,i will be greatfull for yr feed back cheers

Tape the joints as normal, then skim as normal, might just have to have a little more plaster in the area of joint, but no major issue.
 
We only get tapered boards and generally I will put some finish or board addy over the taper and put the tape on it and bring it out to the board. Then skim it when it has gone off. If I have to leave it for a while before I skim it then I will roller some unibond or sbr over it before I skim it...
 
scrim all the joints fill the tapered edges finish drop back and start skimming.
iv filled my joints with addy before working with a spread and got a good talking too for doing it!!!!
dont use tapered edges if you can help it.....
