How to remove a vertical radiator??

Hi everyone

I’m planning to remove a radiator for painting walls this weeks be come across this valve. Ive isolated and removed older radiators before but have not come across this sort of indented valve.

How do I close the isolate the water flow with this valve? Do I need some sort of special spanner?

A large allen key, or hex bit of the appropriate size will tighten down the inner part of the lockshield.
Count the turns, so the rads balancing can be reinstated, when you put it back on the wall.

why remove it roughly same colour your not going to see behind it small roller up the sides
