Hi! I painted our wooden front door, thought it looked good but pretty soon bubbles started to appear under the surface of the paint. Didn't look great so after a few months I scraped off the bubbles and painted over where they'd been. Somehow I think it looks worse! (See attached pic). The spots where the bubbles were are now even more noticable! Mainly because the surface there is not flush with the rest of the door.
Any advice on what my next step should be? Am thinking to get some external wood filler to fill the spots and make the whole surface smooth, then apply a whole new coat??
