Hello all

I have just started getting back into the Garden after Winter and have noticed a few areas of Pointing on the Patio that are missing.

The Pointing is Rompox Easy Basalt with Sandstone Slabs.

I have also noticed that when the Pointing was done by the Landscapers that they did not fully clear the Gaps of Cement, so, in some places the Gap is quite Shallow.

What is the best way to Remove Dried Cement from the Gaps so that I can reapply Rompox Easy?

Would a Multi Tool be suitable, if so, what Blade would I need?

Thanks in advance

Kevin

I would think a portable diamond grinding disk, 125 or 130mm would give you a chance to remove the excess cement.

Not a direct answer to your question but a soapy mix of washing up liquid or a de-greasing fluid can apparently be used to remove easy jointing should you need to.
