Hi I have a Miele fridge freezer KFN 8462 SD.

I'm trying to remove the evaporation tray (sits above the compressor) to clean it following a milk spill in the fridge (smells terrible, not surprisingly!).

Just cannot release it. It is made of rather soft plastic so I don't want to force it.

Anyone know how to get it out?

Thanks

Martin

no, but you can also clean it by putting in GP cleaner and scrubbing it round with a stiff paintbrush, then sponge the filthy water out (don't let it splash or overflow onto any electrical part.

Thanks, I used an old toothbrush. Worked pretty well.

Couldn't see any way to clean the pipe running down from the inside of the fridge, so I've run some dilute bicarbonate of soda through it. At least it isn't blocked...

Thanks again, problem fixed i think
