Cheap way is to wrap with a bit of cloth and soak with vinegar , leave overnight .
Lots of descaling products in the shop .
The spout filter is often removable , unscrews and can be soaked in vinegar for a thorough clean .
Cut the top half (or so) off a plastic milk bottle and use what's left as a container which is filled with descaler (I use double strength). Place on piece of wood sitting across the sink (or bath or basin) and leave for half an hour or so. The tap needs a downward curving spout to miss the top of the container and drop down in the liquid for this to work.
