How to remove this upvc window handle

How do I remove this type of upvc window handle? There is no visible sign of a screw/allen key.

In the black plastic section hole there looks like metal, but when inserting any type of screwdriver there is nothing to grip on.
 
I don’t suppose there is a cap over the bracket surrounding the black section? Can this be lifted to expose the fixings?
 
Black plastic section extends under lock and haven’t found anything to lift so far. I’ll have another go with a Stanley knife/blade, but not optimistic. Logically something must lift.
