Recently bought a baxi duotec 33kw combi boiler & also a salus rf remote stat.

Want to wire in & set up the stat.

Does the yellow link inside boiler need to be removed.

Does the transmitter & receiver need pairing up.

A step by step guide would be helpful & very much appreciated if anyone knows.

Look in the instructions perhaps?
Oh and return the salus and buy a honeywell

Stat should already be paired and yes the link on the boiler to be removed, it actually shows you how to wire next to the terminal strip on the boiler

Yes I know what you mean about the honeywell-ive had these fitted in the past and seem a lot better piece of kit.

The salus feels a bit cheap compared to the honeywell-just liked the idea of the salus fitting in where the mechanical clock fits & also got the salus with the boiler almost as a freebie.

Salus has been wired in but just doesnt seem to respond.

Have tried it with the yellow link in & out and still not responding.

All ive done is where the unit fits into the timer clock is-fit the rf boiler control unit which has 4 wires I think which where live, neutral & 2 black wires which ive fitted as per diagram to terms 1,2,3,4 and then place batterys in transmitter and tried boiler and also taken yellow link out of where mains boiler is wired.
