Hey There!

One of my kitchen ceiling spot lights needs a wire replacing so im trying to gain access to it from the loft. The problem however is that my loft is boarded and I'm trying not to take all the boards up to access this one light. Do any of you guys know the best way for me to locate where the spot light is, from the loft space? And once I know that, what's the best method to cut into the boards in the loft to access the spots lights below the layer on insulation?

Thanks!

Pop the lamp out from down below, then use a drill to pierce the loft boarding that you'll see through the hole. Poke some wire through the drilling and you'll see it waving at you from the loft space.
Cut the boards with a jigsaw, but scout for any stray cables first!
John :)
