I'm about to embark on tiling my first bathroom and wish to use a brick tile configuration using 250mm x 330mm tiles. What is the main rule of thumb relating to the best place to start as the room is not particulary big and I'm worried about too many small fill in pieces of tile? I also want to put a small border of mosaics in horizontally, which I intended to have at the height of the window base, going into the window recess - is this correct?
