Hello all, was just wondering if anyone can give a bit of advice! Apart from suggesting that I don't use a hardwood in a shower room! I am planning to put solid oak T&G in small shower room. I think I will glue joints and nail down. I've read various advice in different places and wonder whether anyone can suggest which is best for sealing the floor to make it waterproof: outdoor wood sealant, osmo hardwaxoil, tung oil or urethane varnish.

Whilst I'm on, any comments on using tung oil on reclaimed iroko as a work surface in a kitchen?!

Thank you.

Well you usually use it outside but I would have thought Yacht varnish would be best due to its elasticity and high water resistance.
