How to wire a Honeywell DT90E1012

Good afternoon folks,

I've Just purchased the above room stat to replace my broken one which has split in half. There are four wires on my existing stat but only three connection points on the replacement.

Would I be correct in discarding the yellow and earth wires and just screwing them into a blank connection block to sit inside the casing and connecting red to terminal A and black to B on the replacement stat?

I don’t see a black wire. It’ll be red to A and Yellow to B. Blue wire and Earth wires safely terminated in a connector block/terminal strip.
