I said to find a length, doesnt have to be too long, that isnt damaged ,and an olive will seal where an o ring wont as i have had to do it ,arrogant prick.

Hi, to clraify the damage was along the length of the pipe where I threaded it under the floorboards - probably caught on some of the plaster from the wattle & daub. Replaced it with the left-overs and fed through more carefully having lifted a couple of extra floorboards. On closer inpection the damage didn't look too bad. All good now.
