Hello,

I am fitting a Manrose 1361 humidity/timer controller in our ensuite to control a MF100S inline fan in the loft.

Unless I'm missing something, there are no real recommendations in the manual about situating the sensor except that it must not be in in zone 0, 1 or 2. The extraction vent is going to go above the shower head.

I am assuming that as it is supplied with a surface mount box that it is designed to go on the ceiling?

situating the fan

the fan you mention is normally fitted in the loft, above the bathroom ceiling, so it is not in the bathroom, so zones do not apply.

Where do you want to put yours?

edit, oh, you mean the controller.

If it has a humidity sensor, the higher the better, since steam rises. The ceiling should be fine.

Preferably not close to a shower where it might get squirted.

And away from ventilation such as doors and windows

Editted my original post - I am referring to the Manrose 1361 sensor unit. The fan will be appropriately mounted in the loft.
